Here are some shots of Tapas Micros installed at the Kansas City Art Institute for my BFA exhibition. As a requirement for the degree it was necessary for me to show this project in the gallery for the annual exhibition. Being that this work was designed to be eaten off of in a restaurant I found it difficult to decide how they would be displayed in this setting. The solution I came up with was a series of platforms that I designed in the 3D modeling software Rhino and had cut out in HDPE plastic on a CNC router. The router was owned by an artist named Jesse Small who I had been doing a work-trade/internship with that year. The results are the black pedestals you see below.
